Great post and timely find for us. We are a solar startup trying to get our investors past fear of the future in exits. Capital efficient build to cash flow positive is our plan, but that doesn't solve the problem of how they get their return. The model is broken and a fix is hard to find. Thanks for the analysis

At least this week's Barron's profiles JMP and their efforts to position themselves as a firm that embraces sub $50 million IPOs.

The bigger is better (and too big to fail) business plan is NOT in our country's best interest.

I enjoy your blog.
